Nina Turner, the former Ohio Senator and national surrogate for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders during the hard fought 2016 Democratic presidential primary, is currently the president of Our Revolution, an organization created by Senator Sanders to revitalize American democracy, empower progressive leaders and elevate political consciousness.

Gayle McLaughlin, the former Mayor of Richmond, California, is currently the corporate-free independent candidate for California Lieutenant Governor endorsed by Our Revolution, 10 California Democratic Socialists Chapters, The Green Party of California, the Peace and Freedom Party, Ralph Nader, and many progressive organizations and individuals.
